Cindy Aguiar, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Impaired Driver Service Provide

Cindy Aguiar, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Impaired Driver Service Provider, joined Harbor Care in 2010. She currently works as a substance misuse treatment provider, providing adults with individual one-on-one and group counseling and treatment services. Previous roles include working with families involved in DCYF and with adults with severe and persistent behavioral health disorders at an inpatient psychiatric facility.

With 33 years of experience, Cindy received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Springfield College, and a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Alcohol and Drug Counseling and co-occurring disorders.

At Harbor Care, Cindy specializes as an Impaired Driver Service Provider (IDSP), helping people get their licenses back. She works with clients to bridge the gap between treatment and the outside sober support networks; she recommends Harbor Care because of its integration of services and continuity of care, allowing her clients to receive “one-stop shopping” for all their behavioral health care needs.
